Custom 4Wheel Drive is a full-service Jeep and truck-modification shop based in New Port Richey FL that specializes in custom builds. The owner, Matt Brusselback, with 25-plus years of experience in engineering and fabrication of specialized parts—Matt came to view his work as more art than engineering as he explored his craft.
A majority of customers know the brand primarily through word of mouth or seeing the shop while driving past. The shop’s Facebook page and website are utilized rarely due to a time constraints and busy work-days. Creating a recognizable, simple, identity system that spoke to the craftsmanship of Matt while using his iconic jeep’s purple color allowed for the brand to visually establish itself in the world.
Custom 4Wheel Drive creates one of a kind Jeep builds. This is true in part to the perspective that Matt takes when he approaches his bread and butter projects—custom builds.
At the shop, every hour that is spent cutting, refining and polishing is a labor of love, and an artistic endeavor. The goal was to communicate this by creating a brand that felt both authentically “shop” but also more elevated than it's counterparts.
